Who we are

Adventure of Humanity is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at info@adventureofhumanity.com or by post at Villa Oxygene, 137 Av. des Cactus, 06220 Vallauris, France.

What we collect and why

When you contact us through our form or by email, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and the contents of your message. We use these details to respond to enquiries and manage correspondence, including enquiries about partnerships, events and press. Name, email and message are required in the form so we can respond; you do not have to provide a phone number. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining professional relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where an enquiry involves steps towards a contract with you, the basis is Article 6(1)(b). Our hosting services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect the website, on the basis of legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation.

Who receives your information

Your information is available to the people who need it to handle your enquiry and to service providers supporting our website and email. Our web host is responsible for delivering messages submitted through the contact form to our email inbox. Providers process data for these services; we do not sell your contact details or use an enquiry as permission to send marketing emails.

How long we keep it

We retain correspondence for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and complete any resulting discussions or relationship. Once it is no longer needed, we delete it unless retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical logs are retained only as needed for operation, security and troubleshooting.

Browser storage and external services

The website stores your chosen language in your browser’s local storage until you clear it. This preference is not used for advertising. The current website code does not include advertising or analytics trackers.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. This sends technical information, including your IP address, to Google when your browser requests the fonts. See Google Fonts privacy information. External websites linked from this site handle data under their own privacy notices.

Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer is subject to GDPR, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, are required. Contact us for information about the providers, destinations and safeguards applicable to your data.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent or a contract and carried out automatically, you may also have a right to data portability; where consent is used, you can withdraw it at any time. These rights are subject to the conditions in GDPR. We do not use your enquiry for automated decisions or profiling.

To exercise your rights, email info@adventureofhumanity.com. We normally respond within one month and may request only the information needed to verify your identity. If an extension is permitted, we will explain why within that month.

You can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

We will update this page when our handling of personal data changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
